We believe in eternal life and that families can be together forever.

Although we miss David terribly, we know with complete confidence that he lives and that we will be reunited with him after we die.
Before we were born, we existed as spirit children of loving Heavenly Parents.
God designed a plan for us to gain bodies and come to Earth – a plan of mercy, happiness, redemption, and salvation.
Jesus Christ is central to God’s plan. His Atonement, death, and resurrection provide a pathway to eternal life for us.
Although we are physically separated from God during life on Earth, by faith we know of Him through the beauty of His creations that surround us, the joy we find in our family relationships, and the peace we feel when we pray and seek His guidance.
At death, our spirits and bodies are separated. David has just experienced this. His body is buried at Forest Lawn Glendale, but his spirit lives on and is awaiting the resurrection. As spirits await the resurrection, they can be called to work to bring others to salvation. Although we cannot know for certain whether David is engaged in such a work, after Catharine’s dreams, we hope and believe that he is. At resurrection, David’s spirit and body will be reunited and perfected – free from pain, sickness, and imperfections.
Following resurrection, we will all be judged based on our desires, actions, and choices. This judgment will be one of mercy, but also healing and love. God and Jesus will perfectly judge us because they understand our hearts and circumstances perfectly. After judgment, we will return to live with God and Christ again.
As David’s family, we will live the rest of our lives on Earth comforted by the knowledge that while David’s body has died, his spirit lives on. We believe with all our hearts in a loving God whose work and glory is to help us permanently overcome physical and spiritual death to live with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, again. Our wait to be reunited with David might feel long now, but will be a short moment in the eternities.
God be with you til we meet again, David.
